How to Use This Editor
Markdown Syntax
This editor supports standard Markdown syntax:
# Heading 1,## Heading 2, etc. for headings*italic*or_italic_for italic text**bold**or__bold__for bold text[link text](URL)for linksfor images1. Itemfor ordered lists- Itemor* Itemfor unordered lists```code block```for code blocks
Citations
To add citations, follow these steps:
- Go to the BibTeX tab and paste your BibTeX references
- Click Parse BibTeX to load the references
- Return to the Editor tab and add citations in your text using
[@key]syntax - For multiple citations, use
[@key1; @key2]
You can also click the Insert Citation button to add citations from a list of available references.
Citation Styles
To change the citation style:
- Go to the Citation Style tab
- Select a predefined style from the dropdown menu
- Or select Custom CSL and paste your own CSL XML
- Click Apply Custom CSL to use your custom style
Sample CSL XML
Here's a simple CSL XML example (Nature style):
